| Event Overview
Island Triathlon Series™ (ITS) is the world's newest and most anticipated triathlon. The inaugural event that is redefining the sport will take place on March 29th, 2009 in Providenciales, Turks and Caicos. The beautiful Turks & Caicos Islands are situated in the British West Indies, and are possibly the most unspoiled populated islands in the Western Hemisphere. ITS is planning to expand its series to other island destinations, adding a new island each year over the next 3-4 years, culminating with its own World Championship in 2010.

TV Broadcast
Our 30 minute television series which will be shot in High Definition will be broadcast in 85 countries to 167 million households and potentially close to 600 million viewers.

Tri4Dignity Program
CHARITY FUNDRAISING PROGRAM - Tri4Dignity Tri4Dignity is the signature fundraising campaign for Island Triathlon Series. This initiative gives athletes an opportunity to achieve a personal goal, raise money and awareness for Dignitas International, a global medical humanitarian organization focused on HIV/AIDS treatment and prevention, while off-setting their travel costs. ITS is raising money for Dignitas in other ways including a partial donation of sponsorship dollars from titling the program, pledges raised through our celebrity relay and the sale of a designated merchandise item with 100% of the proceeds being directed to the cause. |

Trish Stratus
Combining beauty with phenomenal wrestling abilities, Trish Stratus led a new breed of WWE® Divas. She is the only woman in WWE history to hold the WWE Woman's Championship an unprecedented seven times. She has also made television appearances on Fox's Mad TV, has hosted the 2006 Canada's Walk of Fame, co-hosted CTV Canada's flagship entertainment show, ETalk Daily and City TV's top rated Breakfast Television morning show and is regularly featured on ET Canada. Trish can be seen this summer as the host of CBC's -The Second City's Next Comedy Legend.

Andy Baldwin
An accomplished triathlete and winner of recent humanitarian awards from Triathlete Magazine and Competitor Magazine. Andy competed in his first triathlon in 2000 and has since gone on to compete internationally in numerous Ironman, Half-Ironman and other triathlons and marathons, often ranking among the top five finishers in his age group. He most recently appeared on The Bachelor on ABC's "The Bachelor: Officer and a Gentleman". |

Post-Race Party - Chantal Kreviazuk
We have confirmed Juno award winning recording artist Chantal Kreviazuk to sing national anthem and at post-race party. Chantal Kreviazuk released her last album, What If It All Means Something. During the break and after recording and touring that record, she firmly established herself as one of the premiere songwriters in the industry by penning hits for the likes of Gwen Stefani and Kelly Clarkson.

Sean English
Sean English, a native of Northern California, has been a competitive athlete his entire life. He is a former nationally ranked alpine skier, former member of Salomon Sports North America's Trail Running Team and Team Sports Bites. In Sean's work as a race announcer, his highlight events include the Phuket Thailand International Marathon, the Wildflower Triathlon, Firestone Classic Mt. Bike race and the Nike Women's Marathon.

Featured Athlete of the Month
Tara Robinson
Tara Robinson is the Noon and 6:00 Television News Anchor for CTV News Regina and has won several national and regional newscasts awards. Stories she has covered include the recent Canadian Snowbird plane crash in Montana, Royal Visits, and she has interviewed Premiers and Prime Ministers. Tara has participated in 3 Ironman Canadas and has recieved 2 Finisher Medals. Tara has never competed in a Half Ironman and is looking forward to participating in her first one on the wonderful island of Providenciales! She has been asked to share her Triathlon experiences as an inspirational speaker, as well as with the tens of thousands of viewers who tune in to watch her on the news every night. |
