  • The Bike Course has a lot of slow and long inclines and declines.
  • There is one substantial hill called “Turtle Cove Hill” that the athletes will pursue 2 times – this will be the most challenging component of the bike course – see the elevation profile between the 3rd and 4th mile for an evaluation of the grade.
  • The road conditions are quite good, minimal potholes, debris, etc.
  • The entire Bike Course is paved.
  • Athletes must always keep to the right (on road and through roundabouts).
  • There are very few intersecting roadways and driveways along the Bike Course, all of which will be managed by a Route Marshal or local traffic management enforcement, i.e., police, etc.
  • There will be three aid stations along the 16.25 bike loop
  • The majority of the Bike Course is on the main Providenciales highway called – Leeward Hwy.  it is a smooth, paved road with very little fingers streets/intersections, no lights and very light traffic.
